Dental Crowns and Bridges in Billings, MT

What Can a Dental Crown or Bridge Fix:

Placing Your Dental Crown

To place a dental crown, Dr. Thomas will first prepare the tooth by removing any decay or old fillings. Then, he will shape the tooth to make room for the crown. Impressions of your teeth will be taken and sent to a dental lab to create your custom crown.

A temporary crown will be placed on your tooth while you wait for your permanent crown to be made. Once your permanent crown is ready, it will be cemented onto your tooth.

What Are Dental Bridges?

Dental bridges are another type of dental restoration that is used to replace one or more missing teeth. A dental bridge consists of two dental crowns attached to the teeth on either side of the gap, with a false tooth or teeth in between. Dental bridges can be made of porcelain, ceramic, or metal materials.

By replacing lost teeth, dental bridges can restore your ability to chew and speak properly, prevent your remaining teeth from shifting, and improve your smile. They can also help prevent premature wrinkles by supporting the muscles in your face.
