Relieve Tooth Pain with Root Canal Treatment
Root Canal Treatment Clears Infection
Contrary to what most people believe, a root canal does not cause discomfort but is actually an effective treatment for relieving tooth pain. A common cause of tooth pain is infection of the interior tooth pulp. If not treated, this infection can spread to other teeth or even other parts of the body. Root canal treatment is the most effective way of cleansing the infection and relieving tooth pain. At Thomas Smile Designs we strive to make all your treatments anxiety-free so that you can live a lifestyle without pain.
Common Symptoms of Tooth Infection:
The Root Canal Process
Experienced Care for a Healthy Mouth
We strive to make your root canal treatment a painless and quick process thanks to our years of experience and dental sedation options. Dr. Joseph Thomas has over 35 years of dental experience and is able to handle some of the most difficult cases of tooth infection. We are able to make root canal treatment easy thanks to our investment in The Wand® dental anesthesia. The Wand allows us to administer a computer-controlled dose of anesthesia directly to the affected tooth, numbing the tooth and preventing you from experiencing discomfort.
The Root Canal Process
We perform your root canal with precision and try to make the process as minimally invasive as possible. After numbing the affected tooth, we gently access the interior and remove the infected pulp inside. After cleansing the tooth's root canals and reshaping them, we restore the tooth with a biocompatible material called gutta-percha. After the interior of the tooth is restored, we will fit you with a lifelike and strong dental crown that Dr. Thomas hand-crafts uniquely for your mouth. After root canal treatment, you should be free of tooth pain and be able to use your tooth and mouth like normal again.
Eliminate tooth pain with timely and effective root canal treatment.
